PET NEEDS have hit us with a powerful new punk track that directly addresses the genre. ‘Punk Isn’t Dead (It’s Just Up For Sale)’ is three minutes of dynamic punk filled with simplistic but incredible effective riffs and witty lyrics. “This is a portrait of people with collared shirts covering tattoos, avoiding eye contact as post-hardcore blasts through headphones,” the band say. “Of course, this is essentially autobiographical.” The band are about to release an extended version of their debut album, Fractured Party Music, which is full of re-recorded versions of their great past works. -Dan Peeke
